Oikos Superfruits Giveaway

Thanks for participating, everyone!

Kamaile, that’s you… hope you enjoy all this great stuff!

I think this might be the very first giveaway this blog has ever had!

Obviously Greek yogurt and pomegranate are two hugely popular foods right now because they’re healthy, and more importantly because they’re GOOD. Oikos sent me some free yogurt coupons, but they want one of you to have alllll this:

– 2 free coupons for Oikos Organic Super Fruits Greek Yogurt
– Weleda All Natural Pomegranate Firming Day Cream and Pomegranate Firming Serum
– 2 free coupons for Crofters Organic Fruit Spreads
– Organic Pomegranate lip balm, made by Eco Lips
– 2 samples of Numi Organic Berry Black Tea (featuring organic raspberry and raspberry leaf)
– Simply Be Well Organic Pomegranate Moisturizing Body Bar
– RW Knudsen Family 32oz. Organic Just Pomegranate juice and coupons (will be sent to winner directly from RW Knudsen Family)

Eating organic foods is really important, and you can see why here. <– That's a pretty sweet rap video by the founder of Stoneyfield Farm.

All you need to do to win is leave a comment. About anything. Tell me what you like to eat for breakfast or where you want to go on vacation. Why eating organic food is important to you. Shower me with compliments. (kidding…?) Ask for recipes. Just say hi! I'll pick a winner at random on Friday night.

Comments will close Friday night (5/13) at 10:00 PM PST. Aaaaand go!

FTC Disclaimer: I was sent coupons for free yogurt and Stonyfield Farm is providing all the products that will be given away

This giveaway looks awesome! I love reading your blog and trying out your recipes. I try to buy as much organic food as I can but it is difficult on the budget of a college student. I have always wanted to go to Spain, Iceland, Uruguay, and on one of those national geographic tours to Antarctica.

  7. 7 Valerie May 12, 2011 at 7:44 am

    Hi, Cate!

    Hmm…vacation…

Well, I’m absolutely aching to get back to NZ. If my hubby and I can go during the RWC, all the better!

p.s. For breakfast today I slipped and ate 2 leftover Baltimore style hot wings, so lord knows I could use something healthier (i.e., yogurt) in the morning.

  12. 12 Danielle May 12, 2011 at 8:20 am

Yum! I’m obsessed with Greek yogurt – I think it’s so much better than regular yogurt (I like how thick and creamy it is), and I love adding some crunch to it. Right now I add Grape Nuts, which my co-worker fondly refers to as horse food 🙂

  13. 13 Allison May 12, 2011 at 8:31 am

Great giveaway! I wish more people educated themselves on eating organic, I’m so glad to have made the switch!

  14. 14 becca May 12, 2011 at 8:35 am

Fun! I’m a big fan of muesli w/yogurt for breakfast… and I wouldn’t mind eating that on a Hawaiian vacation. 🙂

  15. 15 Susan May 12, 2011 at 8:39 am

    Cate,

I enjoy your multifaceted blog. The recipes are of course terrific, but I also enjoy getting to know some of the culinary enjoyments of the places you live and visit.

Waiting anxiously for the new crop of chard so I can enjoy the chard and lentil stew you posted last September. Loved it then.

The Oikos superfruits flavors actually converted my husband to Greek yogurt eating! They are his favorites.

Unfortunately, now we have to buy twice as much Greek yogurt which isn’t cheap. Boo.

    Hi Cate,

A friend of mine sent me the link to your Broccoli Pesto Quinoa (a huge hit at family dinner by the way) and I quickly became a fan going through your recipes and reading about you. Last week I made the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies and they were devoured by my grateful co-workers. This is a great give away! I eat yogurt for breakfast almost every morning.

  36. 36 Nicole May 12, 2011 at 1:08 pm

We feed organic to our little one because of the percentage of produce she eats in proportion to her little body (nearly 80% produce of some sort!!) That’s alot of pesticides to take in..
And we eat it as much as we can afford to 🙂

  37. 37 Tasha May 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm

    Hello Catherine,
I would love to win this. I try to win things on blogs often, so far, nothing. But, maybe this time I will!! When I was a teenager I used to play video games with your husband when he was just a little tyke. Bet no one else can claim that one – huh?
By the way – you are pretty awesome too. We have the same birthday and I was really wishing you lived close to me this year to take you up on that birthday trade we were gonna do. Darn it!!
    Smile, Liz

  43. 43 Andi May 12, 2011 at 5:10 pm

We eat Greek yogurt daily – I usually make it myself but it would be wonderful to have a free alternative that I knew was good!

We belong to our local organic CSA (locavores!!),purchase our non-gmo pastured meats from a local small farm, and I grow my own organic veggies because I want to give my kids the best food sources I can! I avoid processed food and make all our breads and pastas as well.

I LOVE your dessert recipes!!! And your blogs! 🙂

Vacation?? We are actually taking our first family vaca to the mountains of West Virginia. Sparsely populated and beautiful! I can’t wait!

  44. 44 Aj May 12, 2011 at 8:09 pm

Congrats on your baby girl! Are you going to delve into gourmet baby food making?
