I know, I know, this is supposed to be a food blog

I wish I could say I’ve been eating all kinds of delicious and exotic Thai food recently, but that’s just not the case. I’ve actually been living on chicken fried rice, fresh pineapple, and Thai iced tea from 7-11. I have a couple excuses: the street food in this neighborhood is a little lacking, we eat dinner well after dark making photographing the meal nearly impossible, and I eat my lunches in a mall food court. I hope you understand.

In the meantime, some more of my humble dwelling:
The closet:

My tiny but sufficient wardrobe.  I never would have believed I could manage with so few clothes, but it’s been three months now and I’m surviving! If you’d told me in college that one day I would live with only five pairs of shoes, I would not have believed it.

So, I may have lied to you slightly in my last post when I said everything in the apartment was gray. As you can see here, that’s not technically true. We were provided with this lovely blue plaid bedding. I can assure you, I’ll be purchasing a set just like this for my next apartment…

And I’ll throw in another picture of my view, for good measure. Did I mention I love this view?

Sweet comforter!!! It looks frighteningly familiar–a lot like the one my husband had when we met. I can tell you where to get one when you move back to the states 🙂

So grey is in now huh? I’ll have to be sure to tell my wife it’s time to redecorate. Perhaps I’ll go all beige instead…..tough choice… 🙂
